You guys know I’m not one to drop a lot of cash on what I wear… most of my wardrobe comes from the thrift store, clearance section, consignment shopping– you get the idea. I poke around in the more affordable places to shop from time to time, usually with little success. It feels like a rule that if I can afford it, I won’t want it. Until lately, that is. I’m so overwhelmed by the good choices in Old Navy right now that I had to share for today’s Friday Roundup. Without further ado, the five things I’m dying to snag up at Old Navy:
This pleated crepe dress. I’m not one to ignore my waist, but this dress has me ready to skip the belt. It has such great movement while looking effortlessly feminine.
This peplum cami.
Since becoming a mom (nursing, hauling around humans, bending over to deal with my little people), I have pretty much sworn off spaghetti straps. But I think I just love this too much. It looks comfy, has a fabulous print, and is exceptionally modest for a cami. I’m in.
These! I haven’t been able to find affordable, high-waisted swim bottoms anywhere! I’m so excited about this. I’ll probably snag the black ones and grab a few fun, cheap tops from Target and do mix and match. Old Navy, my post-partum belly thanks you.
This hi-lo tee.
On sale, adorable, and works with anything (tuck it into a high-waisted skirt, let it hang out with nice pants, front tuck with distressed jeans, heals, flats, colorful sneakers). Need I say more?
These colorful gladiators.
I’m in love. I’ve been googling at some colorful heels for a while (just see my Pinterest), but I just don’t do more than inch on the regular. I mean, the only place I would consider wearing it is church, but I walk to church, so that’s a no-go. All that to say, I like my fancy footwear to be flat and these guys are just the ticket. Me likey.
